About the Dr. Edgardo Lob Cancer Care Fund
The Dr. Edgardo Lob Memorial Cancer Care Fund supports cancer patients being treated locally through the Hillman Cancer Centers at UPMC Horizon. The fund also supports national cancer research and educational organizations such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the American Cancer Society and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
A team of UPMC Horizon staff members administers the fund to provide monetary donations and gifts to improve the health and well-being of cancer patients and their families.
All donations to the Dr. Edgardo Lob Memorial Cancer Care Fund go directly to helping local patients and their families as well as supporting cancer research.

This fund is named in memory of Dr. Edgardo Lob (1958-2021) who spent his career helping those around him fight cancer. Dr. Lob was known for his personable and caring manner and enjoyed working with his patients and fellow healthcare providers.
